To become color is to accept that we are never finished.
This canvas bears an engraving: "What we lived becomes color and color becomes us."
The layers overlap without seeking immediate harmony. They seek each other out, collide, transform. Some layers fade away, others rise to the surface. Nothing really disappears; everything undergoes a metamorphosis.
We do not “become” once and for all. We become constantly, through accumulation, through dialogue with what passes through us.
Becoming is that movement. Uncertain. Alive. Irreversible.
