With ECHOES, Alina Schiau makes this process visible.
Her forms overlap, spill over, and interact. The colors intermingle in successive glazes—transparent, suffused with light—creating layers where past and present coexist. In each canvas, text is engraved directly into the material. Across the works, it sinks deeper and deeper. Present, structuring, yet hidden from the ordinary gaze. Like our most buried memories.
Between what was lived and what remains, there is this vibration: the echo of a memory that never dies.
